No matter where you are in the survival process, the age of your survivor or the severity of their stroke, you can take charge and create positive change.
These added materials will help shape your experience.
In order to reach your goals and objectives, it is useful to have plan... a bread-crumb path of little objectives to find your survivor's way forward.
Following a regular schedule can help alleviate overwhelm for your survivor. After stroke, there are so many influences, information, and recommendations, that a good plan is not only necessary, but, in many cases, coveted. A schedule gives control and it's a great way to stay focused on the things that matter the most.
In order for the house to run more smoothly at this critical time, I suggest some ground rules. Think about what does your survivor need? And you? And anyone else in the house… think about what their needs are that will be hard to manage in this time.
